Superb Vintage Gents Omega Century Wristwatch.
This is probably one of the most awesome Vintage dials I have ever had in stock.
The Waffle/Crosshair combo is a seldom seen one and one that really encapsulates the sheer quality that Omega were producing post WW2.
The Waffle/Crosshair combo is a seldom seen one and one that really encapsulates the sheer quality that Omega were producing post WW2.
The Century alongside the Centenary and Constellation was introduced celebrating Omega’s 100th year in operation as well as its amazing results at the observatory trials. The Century was made for Canadian and South American markets due to the import issues at the time and wasn’t sold in Europe.

OMEGA
Century
Swiss
The Dial is in very good Vintage Condition with some age related marks/patina near the 3 but to be expected with a 68 year old dial.
Marked Swiss.
This is the original Untouched 68 year old Dial that left the Omega Factory back in 1954 and I am a real fan of these Unmolested Dials, especially when they've survived in this sort of Order.
THIS IS NOT A REDIAL!!!!
Case
Quality American (Michigan) Star Watch 10k Gold Filled (Plated) Case.
The Case is in very good condition for its age and nature, with no real age related marks and some very minor Scratches to the common wear area and to the caseback, there is a very small amount of plate wear to the "9" side where people have popped the back off over the years which is the nature of the beast, but nothing overly major!
Case approx. measures in at:
Diameter: 33.3mm
Diameter with Crown: 35mm
End of lug to lug: 38.5mm
Lug Spacing: 18mm
This Case has never been designed to withstand Water, so submerging this Watch is definitely not recommended.
Hands, Crystal and Crown
Original Hands are in very good order
Crystal has very likely been replaced as part of a previous Service.
Omega Gold Plated Crown is in excellent order.
Strap
On a new 18mm Green LIzard Calf leather strap with Gold Plated buckle, that compliments the Watch really well.
