Movado was a staple of Tiffany stores, they only stocked the finest quality such as Rolex and Patek Philippe for example, it is no surprise that Movado was on that prestigious list. Before a 1969 merger with Zenith and Mondia, Movado developed almost every caliber entirely in-house. From 1900 to 1969, at least 98 Swiss patents were granted to Movado, many of which concerned movement developments.

The Watch was presented to a loyal employee of the famous restaurant company Horn & Hardart, who at their peak had well over 100 restaurants in America. The company was famous for the "automat" layout of the restaurants, where customers served themselves.

It's highly likely that you have never seen one of these particular models of Tiffany/Movados before. At the time of writing, myself and my colleagues cannot find another example.
