Using the Serial numbers on the caseback we can accurately date this Watch to December 1971.

Movement
Top Quality Japan made Seiko 5606 Automatic 23 Jewels movement with Quickset date/day and hacking seconds. With English and Arabic Day wheel.
Setting The Watch
Gently pop out the Original crown, if you pull it slightly the crown will go into position one and the Watch will continue to tick. This is your quickset date/day position so if for some reason you need to set the Day, just gently scroll the crown Clockwise and the day wheel will change to your desired day and anti-clockwise for the Date.Â
As with all vintage watches it is very important not to use the feature between 8pm and 4am as it will break the mechanism.
Pull the Crown out again into Position two and you will notice that the Watch will come to a halt, this is called hacking seconds, so you can accurately set the time, when your desired time comes around push the crown back in and the Watch will power away again.
Please ensure you push the crown back in and gently push it back to the case when finished.

This Dial is honestly Breathtaking, I have only ever seen a similar Quality on a Rolex Air King, which absolutely flew out the door at a much much higher price.

Marked T for the presence of Tritium, which has dulled over the years, the Tritium has flaked slightly at 11.
This is the original Untouched Vintage Dial.

Case
Top Quality Gold Plated Top and Solid Stainless Steel Case.
The Case is in very good condition for its age with some age related marks and dings but nothing to get upset about.
Most importantly, the case has never been polished, the case edges are still sharp and the gold plate is in very nice condition
Marked nicely to the case back, the movement is accessed through the glass, which is why the movement photos are from the Watchmaker.

This Case was rated Water resistant back in the Day, it is now a Vintage Timepiece, it has NOT been tested for Water Resistance and if you wish to Submerge this Watch, you will need to have the Watch Professionally resealed before doing so!!Â
Hands, Crystal and Crown
Original Gold Plated Handset is in very good order.
Original Crystal in good nick, with some minor age related marks. I thought it was nice to keep this to add to the Originality.Â
Original crown in fantastic condition.
Strap
On a new 19mm Tan Suede Wocci Genuine Leather Strap, with Rose Gold plated buckle that compliments the Watch very well indeed.
Comes with a free Vintage Seiko Watch Box as pictured, with compliments from GungaDin Watches.
