The Watch
In 1956, the Rolex Milgauss was introduced with the ref. 6541. The Milgauss was created for Scientists and Engineers whose line of work brings them into contact with magnetic fields, which would disrupt the performance of their mechanical Wristwatch. Designed to resist interference of up to 1000 gauss.

From its launch, the Milgauss remained within Rolex’s catalog and saw steady design updates along the way for three decades before finally being discontinued in 1988. Fast forward to 2007, Rolex sensed an opening in the market for science-inclined watches and re-launched the collection, at the time introducing the ref. 116400GV with a black "anniversary" dial. Earlier this year (2023) Rolex announced that the Milgauss is now completely discontinued from production, much to the dismay of the Watch Community.

The Watch is in very good pre-owned original condition with marks throughout. It is accompanied by its complete original full set of Boxes, Paperwork, Books, Card, Swing tags and complete set of 12 links.
