This example is the ref. 3440, dating from 1960. The extract confirms the Manufacture date and lists the date it was sold November 19th 1960. The Reference 3440 is considered one of the most intriguing and frankly under-valued automatic calatravas in the world of vintage Patek collecting. The 18ct Gold Case is a chunky screw back. It's powered by the automatic calibre 27-460. A very interesting attribute of the reference 3440 is the applied hour markers at 12 o’clock with three sections.
